Good question! Unfortunately I don't have a good answer. I believe the calibration is to correct for other artifacts of a camera (think of some imperfections in the lens that warp captured image) as noted in my article, you may be able to get something working manually settings the value for distance between the cameras. Digging deeper into the camera info ini file + trying some initial values might be a good start
